EXP.edition Krakow

As a reaction to the hostile effects of gentrification in the heart of Krakow, Kestas Svirnelis built an installation of old clothings, which he found in a freshly abandoned house, onto the oven in the former living room. The two now redundant remains, which both stand for warmth and care, were shaped and formally connected to a monumental reminder of the former inhabitants and through this again refocused, shedding an almost objective light on the denotation of materiality and domesticity.
